Indy Speedway From Museum to Tunnel Entry

Boston, Massachusetts area.  In December 1979, I took 2 flights to get to Boston to spend 1 and ½ weeks at the Woburn warehouse implementing the upholstery fabric wholesale system for Riegel Textile.  I had a rental car at this site and learned to drive throughout the area, especially Salem.
June 2000, I took a Boston flight to attend the ICCA conference in Andover.  I took one day to rent a car and drive into Maine.
         
Chicago, Illinois.  In January 1980, I took 2 flights to get to Chicago to spend 2 weeks implementing the upholstery fabric wholesale system at the warehouse for Riegel Textile.  Due to the weather, I used taxis and coworkers to navigate the city.
In June 2007, I drove to the ICCA Conference.  I stopped in Louisville, KY going and Lexington, KY coming back.  I took time to visit several attractions including, Churchill Downs, Indianapolis Speedway, and the Sears Tower.  During the conference, the group took a chartered bus to Millennium Park and Navy Pier.

Denver, Colorado.
  In June 2002, I took a Denver flight in to attend the ICCA conference. I had one day to tour the area using the tour transportation between sites.  I also experienced the air during major wildfires.

Houston, Texas.  In December 1979, I took a flight from Boston to Houston to spend 1 week implementing the upholstery fabric wholesale system at the warehouse for Riegel Textile.  I had a rental car and was able to tour the area and see a play working its way to Broadway - "Best Little Whorehouse in Texas".

Las Vegas, Nevada.  In 2003, took a Las Vegas flight to attend the ICCA conference.  I took a couple of extra days to tour the city and to go to the Grand Canyon.

Los Angeles, California.  In 1989 worked from June 1, through October 2 in Pasadena.  I was learning the tax system for support at the East Coast Facility.  The company provided an apartment in Burbank, a company car, and flew me back to Charlotte every other Friday for the weekend.  The weekends that I stayed I took advantage of seeing tourist attractions.  I went as far north as San Simeon, as far east as Big Bear Lake and as far south as Tijuana, Mexico.

Minneapolis, Minnesota.  In June of 1997 I took 2 flights to attend the ICCA conference.  I stayed an extra day to take a tourist tour of Minneapolis and Saint Paul.

Newark, New Jersey.   
In June of 2006, I drove to attend this ICCA conference.  Drove to the event through western Virginia and from the event through the Delmarva peninsula.  On Saturday evening the conference included a tour of New York City and especially Ground Zero.

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  In 1998 I took a direct flight to attend the ICCA conference.  I stayed over on Sunday night and took advantage of the train from the airport hotel to downtown to see what the main station looked like.

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  I took a direct flight in June 1995 to participate in a Smithsonian Tour of the area.  The tour included a guided tour through a steel mill, several museums, a brewery, Fallingwater, and a dinner cruise.

St. Louis, Missouri.  In October of 1996 I took a direct flight just in time to attend the ICCA conference.  I had a little time on Sunday evening and took the train from the airport to the arch stop.  I got to see the arch through the train-stop arch and caught the train back to the airport. 
From March 2004 through 2005 I took direct flights several times for ICCA National Board meetings.
