Education

On June 1, 1972, I graduated from A.L. Brown High School in Kannapolis, N.C.  I was salutatorian.

On May 15, 1976 graduated from North Carolina State University with a B.S. in Statistics.  Other courses included:  accounting, economics, chemistry, biology, genetics, physics, and industrial engineering.

Fall of 1977, took Operations Management and Business Law.

1978-1979 took Intermediate Accounting courses.

In 1984, passed the final tests and received Certification in Data Processing (CDP – now known as CCP) from ICCP. 

In 1984 completed course work and received the General Banking diploma from the American Bankers Association.

In October 1990, I attended the Hogan Basic Umbrella course.

In Spring1992, took a CICS course.

In September 1997 took SQL Basics.

In April 1996, took DB2 Application Programming.

In April 1996, took Visual Basic 4.0 Introduction.

In January 1997 attended Object Oriented Fundamentals.

In December 1997 attended Object Oriented Analysis and Design.

In March 2003 took the Community Association Institute’s “ABC Course in Homeowner Association Management”.

In 2003- 2004, took two Java courses via online system.

I completed the Harvard Business School Management Development Program at Queens University in Charlotte that was taught each Monday starting September 13, 2004 through December 6, 2004.

Took Introduction
